A tincture is a single-step alcohol extraction of plant material. A spagyric goes further: the plant is separated into its botanical, aromatic, and mineral aspects, each refined on its own terms, and then reunited into a single whole-plant preparation. The mineral salts alone require calcination, a process that involves reducing the spent plant material to ash through controlled fire. A tincture does not include this step. The result is a more complete representation of the plant than a standard extract or tincture can offer.

Turmeric, ginger, and Vana tulsi are sourced through direct relationships with Maui farmers. The raw Hawaiian honey comes from Wao Kele Honey on the Big Island. We stay involved from harvest through the finished jar and can vouch for the source material we use.
