What is a spagyric preparation?
Spagyrics is a traditional whole-plant process that separates, refines, and reunites different aspects of a plant — its botanical extract, aromatic essence, and mineral salts. The word comes from Greek roots meaning to separate and to reunite. It is one of the oldest systematic approaches to working with plant material, and it is the process behind our Turmeric, Tulsi & Ginger Maui Honey Spagyric.
What is in it?
Turmeric, Vana tulsi, and ginger — sourced from Maui farmers — processed through extraction, distillation, and mineral refinement, then reunited with local honey. We will publish a full ingredient and process disclosure once label requirements are finalized.
Is this a supplement?
We are still finalizing the product’s labeling category and required language. For now, we describe it simply as a botanical honey preparation made through a traditional whole-plant process. We do not make disease or treatment claims, and final label language will be reviewed before launch.
Does it contain alcohol?
The preparation process uses food-grade alcohol as a solvent during extraction. The finished product is a honey-based preparation. If you have specific questions about the process, reach out directly.
How does it taste?
Warm, earthy, aromatic, and gently spiced. Turmeric and ginger are the dominant notes, with the floral quality of Vana tulsi in the background. It is not sweet in the way most honey products are — it is more complex and botanical.
Sourcing and Production
Where is it made?
In Kula, Maui, Hawaii. Ray Lovetree leads the work, supported by local farmers, family, and a small production team.
Where do the plants come from?
We source from Maui farmers. We stay involved from harvest through the finished jar and can vouch for the source material we use.
How big are the batches?
Small. We do not produce at scale. Each batch is made by hand with attention to every step of the process.
Sizes and Ordering
What sizes are available?
Three sizes: 1 oz syringe, 2 oz jar, and 8 oz jar.
What is the syringe format for?
The 1 oz syringe is designed for precise, easy daily use. It lets you dispense a consistent amount without mess or waste.
Can I subscribe?
Yes. You can subscribe and save 10%. Frequency options may vary by size, and you can pause, skip, or cancel through your customer account.
Do you ship outside of Hawaii?
